Zed Head Posted October 31, 2020 Author Share #1249 Posted October 31, 2020 Another interesting site. You can see that therapeutic care is getting better. Less death. No measure of long-term health effects though. We might be creating a population of invalids. An aging population supported by a community of invalids. Great. https://www.mdmetrix.com/covid-
Pilgrim Posted October 31, 2020 Share #1250 Posted October 31, 2020 (edited) I read that there is research going into possible lingering heart problems. There is a lot we do not know about long term effects. I can't believe how politics have led to people actively contradicting science and good sense, spreading a pandemic in an attempt to take political advantage. It's not just in the US, other countries like Brazil have actively denied the preventive measures. It's a really good time for people to follow the news of science and medicine, not of politics. AK260 Posted October 31, 2020 Share #1251 Posted October 31, 2020 Well gang, in Blighty we’re back in lockdown from Thursday. The kids are still going to school but that means it’s not a great time to be a teacher.

Racer X Posted November 8, 2020 Share #1253 Posted November 8, 2020 Got up early today and took Mrs. Racer 2.0 to SeaTac and put her on one of those metal tubes headed for Pensacola. She is going to see her daughter, son in law and youngest grandson. She will be there for six weeks. So. Maybe everyone should come over, bring some hookers, liquor, you know the scene. Time to party. Oh, and I have never been good at math, but six weeks puts her return at 20 December . Looks like Racer is having turkey and pumpkin pie alone this year. One last bit. Walking out of the terminal I saw this helpful sign, posted in Canadian. Oh, and remember, wear your mask!

Yeah, I think you live where the daughter and stepson retreat to when the hurricanes bear down on them. They load up stuff in the 5th wheel, hook up the pickup, shutter the house, tuck their tail between their legs and head inland.

240260280 Posted November 9, 2020 Share #1259 Posted November 9, 2020 Trump said: “We’re going to have a great vaccine very, very shortly,” “I think we should have it before the election, but frankly the politics gets involved and that’s okay, they want to play their games, it’s going to be right after the election.” Now the very first business day after a new president was selected, it is announced.... go figure. https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/09/health/pfizer-covid-19-vaccine-effective/index.html
Zed Head Posted November 9, 2020 Author Share #1260 Posted November 9, 2020 (edited) Never mind, too early. Hope they can get it in to production soon, at volume. Edited November 9, 2020 by Zed Head
