Another interesting site.  You can see that therapeutic care is getting better.  Less death.  No measure of long-term health effects though.  We might be creating a population of invalids.  An aging population supported by a community of invalids.  Great.

I read that there is research going into possible lingering heart problems. There is a lot we do not know about long term effects.

I can't believe how politics have led to people actively contradicting science and good sense, spreading a pandemic in an attempt to take political advantage. It's not just in the US, other countries like Brazil have actively denied the preventive measures.

It's a really good time for people to follow the news of science and medicine, not of politics.

Well gang, in Blighty we’re back in lockdown from Thursday. The kids are still going to school but that means it’s not a great time to be a teacher.

Got up early today and took Mrs. Racer 2.0 to SeaTac and put her on one of those metal tubes headed for Pensacola. She is going to see her daughter, son in law and youngest grandson. She will be there for six weeks. 

So.

Maybe everyone should come over, bring some hookers, liquor, you know the scene.

Time to party.

Oh, and I have never been good at math, but six weeks puts her return at 20 December . Looks like Racer is having turkey and pumpkin pie alone this year.

Yeah, I think you live where the daughter and stepson retreat to when the hurricanes bear down on them. They load up stuff in the 5th wheel, hook up the pickup, shutter the house, tuck their tail between their legs and head inland.
