People have an incredible ability to believe that they are inclined to believe, regardless of the reality in front of them. I've seen it all the time, and it's the only thing I can think of that explains Trump's support.

Almost all similar virus come from rural/jungle regions... unlike this one popped up in the middle of a City of 11 million.

 

By coincidence, this city has two labs doing research in the same type of bat virus AND China is screwing around with gene editing. They just announced twins in August whose genes were edited to be resistant to AIDS. The Frankenstein scientist was arrested and sentenced in Dec. DO YOU THINK THEY WERE SCREWING AROUND WITH BAT VIRUS AND HIV Virus?  I DO.

I don't.  I prefer to believe professionally trained and experienced scientists.

Projected total deaths has moved up to 68,000, from about 60,000 a few days ago (the previous update).  Not good.  The model is adjusted based on the data they receive.  They also make assumptions about mitigation efforts.  Just one of several models out there.

Well, ABC news just reported 3.8 million dollars went to a lab in Wuhan to study bats! Not much detail yet but it's reported that money came from the National Institutes of Health.

I assume they also created the common cold and helped Jimmy Hoffa disappear, too, right?

There was a bit of an uptick yesterday in the daily US Covid deaths at 1635.  The gain was primarily attributed to New York while most other states continue to be somewhat flat.

There were a number of resurrections in Utah and Kentucky as the number of Covid deaths was reduced.  Not sure how that happens.

Sadly, Wyoming had it's first death attributed to the virus.
