I got a prototype on my hands super easy install I would say maybe 15 minutes max and then some time to adjust your timing. Here are some pictures. Overall very impressed heavy duty product and I recommend it! I was easily able to put my timing where ever I wanted it when previously my lockdown screw was at the very end of adjustment.

So today, (Happy Easter by the way!) I was googling images of Datsun 510 idler arms (don't ask....) and what should I spy with my little eye while perusing the images?

Seems I am late to the market. Now what the $)(*$&% do I do?  And of all the people to do it first.....

Well they are a little different. That one is to convert from points to electronic ignition because you would otherwise have no adjustment base. Yours is an advanced timing plate. I doubt there is a patent so you should be good to go.

Wanted to be sure I thanked you for the kind words and positive report on my little gadget. Glad to hear it suited the purpose.

Just a quick idea, during the CNC machining, can they grind a small "D" on the bottom?  I know it's been suggested, but, the idea is to use a small bit and only penetrate part-way through the thickness of the metal.  If you do it during the machining, you won't need to write or paint it on the product.

Reminds me of waking up from surgery with an "X" on my good ankle.  Kind of scared me.

Unfortunately, being laser cut, they can’t do anything but cut right through. I asked. Same with water jet and plasma. I’ll call around and see if any engraving places are desperate for business.
