Yeah, I'll continue to do it the "right" way, but I'm not sure it functionally matters. About the only thing I can come up with is the center of mass is closer to the centerline of the car when they are installed the right way. Sure does look funny in there the wrong way though! Haha!! May 1, 20204 yr comment_598507 I thought the reason the narrow side of the shaft was towards the wheel was for clearance with the sway bar, now I see that neither your red or white car has a rear sway bar so maybe that's why it was working being switched end to end. I'm not 100% sure that's the reason but maybe. May 1, 20204 yr comment_598510 I don't see holes for sway bar end links on the red car, as they are on the white. As for the half shafts, it would effect unsprung weight, but not too much. No E brake cable on red either, or have you taken that off already? May 1, 20204 yr Author comment_598511 @Terrapin Z the red car has a rear disc brake mod. It has the ebrake, but has never worked. The PO didn't fit it properly. Ah, makes sense now. Is that a hose clamp exhaust hanger on there? All sorts of cool stuff. May 1, 20204 yr comment_598513 Unsprung weight would be affected. Not much, but still. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/63940-whats-wrong-with-this-picture/?&page=2#findComment-598513 Share on other sites
