Posted May 10, 20204 yr comment_599171 I just went to check this out. I took some EFI parts and relays, but otherwise it's driveline is complete. Mileage unknown, interior is in pieces. F54/P79 that was allegedly running for some time in the recent past. 5 speed/driveshaft/rear diff are all there. Sounded more like vacuum leaks/EFI problems than bad rings as mentioned in his post. He seemed like a decent dude(early 20's) with a desire to mess with Z's, just ended up with a basket case. https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/d/lake-stevens-scrap-parts-1981-datsun/7121584319.html Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/63993-zx-parts-car-in-n-sound-seattle-areanot-mine/ Share on other sites
May 10, 20204 yr comment_599173 He's only going to get about $50-100 from a wrecking yard. The engine trans and diff would probably be worth picking up as a set. It only takes one of them to be good and the buyer is probably paid back. Buy those and let him scrap the rest. Even a set of good injectors, a fuel rail, and an FPR might make it worthwhile. A garage full of spare parts gives comfort. @Terrapin Z is a collector and has been known to travel. May 10, 20204 yr comment_599197 Thanks for the heads up @Zed Head. I really only care for the transmissions from the ZX. Not much else. Probably would be a good deal for this one.
