Posted May 31, 200321 yr comment_39360 I was thinking about selling my 1970 z. Manufactured in 5/70. t is undercoated, and has almost no rust. It has a carbeurated '75 2.8 liter engine, custom 'z's upholstered in the doors and seats. It runs very strongly, and is very fast. It starts evry time, no problem. Things I have replaced over the last 2 years: 1) Electrical system completely rebuilt by a Z specialy shop 2) New choke cable 3) New license plate lamp 4) New dash cover 5) new gear knob that says '240z; 6) the paint job is about 3 years old I have an original steering wheel that I have not installed. Some minor problems: 1) it uses some oil. 2) a few chipped areas on the paint 3) I have a replacement dash cover that i could not get to mount correctly to save my life! 4) Some exhaust leaks into the interior, and i cant figure out were 5) it needs a rear vuew mirror 6) 92 thousand miles Here's a pic. I was thinking about selling on ebay so i could buy an old porsche 911, but I don't know what price to ask. Any advice is helpful, round numbers are fine. Thanks, Erik Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/6405-advice-1970-zfor-sale-how-much-to-ask/ Share on other sites
June 1, 200321 yr comment_39365 That sure doesn't look like a '70. The B pillar markers are wrong. looks like 71 or later B pillar vents.
