Does anyone know what the easiest way to change the air pump filter housing is on the 1972 Datsun 240Z?

Jerry, not quite sure what you want to do.  The filter housing just pushes on the air pump.  
is this the filter, or silencer, that you reference?  As you can see in the photos, there is a rubber O-ring 
that will resist pulling off the old silencer.

the silencer as pictured. Do you have an extra silencer?

 

Does anyone know of a source for the final hose (90 degree cloth wrapped) hose for the smog pump system?
