Removing Louvers

A screwdriver it is then. Thanx for the help!!

Why remove them?

Personal preference.

I have never liked louvers and therefore will be removing them VERY quickly. Not to mention that I have to take them off any way so I can replace the hatch glass seal.

Furthermore, I will be autoxing this car so this is additional weitht I do not need.

As far as keeping out the heat and sun, there is always window tint which I will replace (the old tint on the car has scratches in it and it has turned purple). Believe me, living in Texas I know all too well about heat and sun. Plus I used to manage a window tint shop years ago.

I will gladly sell these louvers to anyone who wants them once I remove them from the car, otherwise they're going in the trash.
