December 13, 20204 yr comment_612455 The only way to know for sure would be to inspect the car in person. Look for the VIN stamp on the firewall, compare to the other ID plates, actually measure the rear strut tower height, etc. Â I'm too far away to do it, and even if I could, I doubt I could tolerate seeing this Z abortion in person. December 13, 20204 yr Author comment_612461 Somebody gave their hangover cure a name? Take clam juice, tomato juice, worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, lime, and Tabasco. Mix with ice, and top with a mass-produced lager. There you have it https://oct.co/essays/what-are-cheladas-101 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/64671-zs-on-bat-and-other-places-collection/?&page=17#findComment-612461 Share on other sites
December 13, 20204 yr comment_612463 $6 a four pack. I spend $12. It's not so much a hangover cure as it is a cause. I just can't drink regular beer in the winter and liquor brings out the monster Drankenstein in me. I mean know harm... December 13, 20204 yr Author comment_612465 Certified color! That's good right? They say clamato like it means something. Oops, it does. I thought this crazy stuff was new but it's been going on a long time. 1935. Hmmm, this tomato juice needs something... aha... clam juice (whatever that is). Refined by chemists. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clamato Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/64671-zs-on-bat-and-other-places-collection/?&page=17#findComment-612465 Share on other sites
December 13, 20204 yr comment_612466 I love Clamato bloody marys. They're called Bloody Ceasars, BTW. I asked a Guatemalan I work with what she calls Mexican cornbread. She said "Mexican cornbread". Edited December 13, 20204 yr by siteunseen Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/64671-zs-on-bat-and-other-places-collection/?&page=17#findComment-612466 Share on other sites

Add pickled asparagus, pickled string beans, celery, worchesterchire sauce, tabasco, lime juice, and ground pepper. A breakfast beer with veggies, almost a balanced meal!  1 hour ago, Zed Head said: Certified color! That's good right? They say clamato like it means something. Oops, it does. Go to Taylor's on Chukanut Drive and get some clams!  Edited December 13, 20204 yr by Racer X Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/64671-zs-on-bat-and-other-places-collection/?&page=17#findComment-612471 Share on other sites
December 13, 20204 yr comment_612472 They have the spicey/picante Clamoto now that I buy. A couple of these jugs and a 24 pack of tall boys and I'm good to go. Much cheaper too but who cares when you're drankin'. December 13, 20204 yr comment_612476 Please allow me to be the first Canadian to jump in here and claim the Caesar:Â https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caesar_(cocktail)#:~:text=The Caesar was invented in,Calgary Inn's new Italian restaurant. I believe there are a few western Canadian members here who will probably tell me to keep my eastern paws off their drink! For years one of the worst things about flying on US airlines was not being able to get Caesars. Bloody Mary's are boring. Of course Canadians have long tried to brag about our beer (as compared to US beer), but that was mainly because they didn't look any farther than Bud or Coors. The US led the way with craft brewing and still has more craft breweries per capita than Canada even with ten times the population. As a beer fan, I'm grateful. Molson and Labatt are fine, but nothing to brag about these days. Of course Europeans (especially those crafty Belgians) have had it over us north americans for a long time! Should I duck? December 13, 20204 yr comment_612478 Let me be the first lower states man to claim I've taken Heinz ketchup and Tabasco with some Dale's sauce and a bunch of vodka with horseradish and made some of the best bloody mother's ever. Necessity is the mother of inventions, thus the name.  Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/64671-zs-on-bat-and-other-places-collection/?&page=17#findComment-612478 Share on other sites
