A friend of mine had been looking for that VIN for 20+ years - but I think he got the VIN wrong because he was looking for a Blue/Blue combination. This one was Gold/Black..  Anyway surprised to see it show up. Yes it looks like a reasonable  by at that price...

I spotted this one on the SF Bay Area Craigslist. Asking price is $7k. Looks like an 11/71 build date to me and not an 11/70 build date.

Bought this car with the intentions of repairing the rust damage and swapping in a sr20 or rb25 to have as a weekend cruiser with my brother, life got too busy with different priorities to get working on the 240z
Currently on Non-op with dmv
Ran before purchased in 2015
Clean title, original key that works for all locks. Complete car, no parts missing.
Original l24 engine(110k miles) with transmission, when purchased it cranked but needed a new starter.
Passenger side frame rail rusted through/under passenger seat (refer to video)
Some exterior rust spots and dings
Driver side frame rail to the right 2 inches give or take AFTER the strut tower which shouldn’t be a problem to pull it out (refer to video)
Already with car when I purchased
new exedy clutch
Energy suspension bushings
1 headlight

The simple orange Z is up today.  Pretty basic.  Wrong wheels and door guards, but not much else added.  No towel bars or over riders or sun roofs. (why is this not rooves?  Leaf > leaves...).  Sold for $38,250.  Simple is good.
