jfa.series1 Posted December 17, 2021 Share #1214 Posted December 17, 2021 Here are the trumpets, originally red plastic - I painted them black to better blend in. The compressor is mounted to the inner fender below the flow control valve. In retrospect, I wish I had mounted it about 4" more forward. I tapped one of the OE horn power wires to drive the compressor - a small red wire zip tied to the wiring bundle going thru the port in the radiator support. . 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It’s stuff like this that makes me wonder where things are going? Are cars going up in value that fast or is our money becoming progressively worthless? We bought a 2021 Suburban one year ago at about 6k under the sticker MSRP. About 6 weeks ago the dealership called us and said they’d be willing to offer us MSRP for the car. I did lean something about my collection of parts. I have so many parts in several bins and now realize I don’t need those rear shock tower caps in because mine is a 77. Sunshine yellow, or Safari Gold? Looks a bit dark for Sunshine, but photos can be deceiving. most likely a late series 1 if it’s a ‘71.
