Fun to speculate what would sentimentally be worth more: A prototype Z with a roof dent, but otherwise unmolested; or the same car having led a successful racing career.

Just my opinion, but if we could 'stop the clock' at some point in the car's life then the most important - as well as, arguably, the most attractive - might well have been when it first became a race car in (mid?) 1970.

33 Red. I'd say that was a 24 year old Gene Tierney type moment...

A free ZX no motor.  I'll try and get it for parts but I'll almost guarantee someone's on their way to pick it up as I type this

I saw that one too. A bit far for me. I wondered if it still had the transmission. A 2+2 car.

The diff would be worth a look, but it's probably an R180.  The wheels look good.  I recall similarities in the front struts but it might just be the shock/cartridges.

But, the person who takes it will still have to get rid of the body somehow, difficult with no title.  They could cut it up, but with today's converter problem there's more eyes on the scrap yards.  Might have to bury the remains in the yard.

I wasn't too surprised with the price.  Especially listed on a place like BaT.  As much as I would love to have that bling on my engine, they weren't the right carbs for me.  I've seen better deals but this one DID include two nice manifolds.
