Not sure how this didn't happen, single car scenario backs up your "$150k+ for the cars they restore" premise, but whatever. Some time ago (prior to Covid...) I was invited to become - in some way(?) - connected to the 'S30 World' operation. No idea what a singularly unpopular character such as myself was expected to add, but there you go. I declined. Looks like I made the right decision. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/64671-zs-on-bat-and-other-places-collection/?&page=129#findComment-641824 Share on other sites

July 7, 20222 yr comment_642116 Classic example of "10% more effort would have yielded 100% better results". Example (one of many) no door jamb bumpers!!! (No idea what you mean with doorjamb rubbers i think these are the doorjamb rubbers..??) Yes, that is what he is talking about . They are there to cushion the door from hitting the jamb. And the Z currently at auction has one on the driver’s side, but the passenger side one is missing. Certainly a small oversight on the part of the seller, something which would require little effort and expense, but may keep more serious bidders away.  Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/64671-zs-on-bat-and-other-places-collection/?&page=129#findComment-642122 Share on other sites

Easy way to bend valves. I made a stand for L series cylinder heads. A simple affair, bolts to each end of the head and allows for the head to be positioned for chamber and port work, then assembly and initial valve adjustment.    Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/64671-zs-on-bat-and-other-places-collection/?&page=129#findComment-642123 Share on other sites
