Up to $19,720.00 with 8 hours to go.. Looks like it might be a very nice 240Z - and with more/better pictures and an owner willing to answer questions - on BAT it might bring bids over $40K today. However on Hagerty Auction, a potential buyer just isn’t going to get enough information to risk much more than $30K. We’ll see how it goes... The diamond vinyl on the trans tunnel and rear shock towers is a wrinkled mess. January 4, 20232 yr comment_648935 Sale ended at $21,500. That seems to be a steal if that is accepted. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/64671-zs-on-bat-and-other-places-collection/?&page=174#findComment-648935 Share on other sites

Are all the kits really that bad? That is a no go for me. That is a no go for me. I think it has something to do with the installation. Done right it shouldn’t look any different than when the original trim was installed. January 4, 20232 yr comment_648951 Currently there is only one manufacturer of the diamond pattern trim. The company is Distinctive Industries in CA. While their product is of very high quality it takes a skilled hand to achieve a good look, especially when it comes to the rear strut towers and rear wheel arches. January 4, 20232 yr comment_648962 Is the embossing on the vinyl by Distinctive Industries as deep/defined as the original? I have the sense from pictures that it is not. But I haven't compared them in person. January 6, 20232 yr comment_648999 Nice car. I can't remember seeing the blue rocker paint strip on one before. Maybe some special paint scheme? Maybe blue paint tape left on?
