$6250.00 difference between a very nice to excellent condition 72 240Z sold on the 18th - -  and a Project needing full restoration sold today.  Crazy Market. It will take $30k to $40K and a thousand hours of labor to match the condition of the finished Z sold on the 18th.

Some people buy their cars to drive and enjoy.  If you've been doing collector cars for years you might just see "restoration potential".  There are other types out there!

But...this person might not be one of them.  Unless he has six other cars that he drives and enjoys.  Who knows.

Anything connected to the "Guild" MUST be taken with a large grain of salt!

Can you expand on that?  They're in my home state and seem to be growing, haven't heard any first hand accounts pro or con about them.

More like 50k EURO here to restore that. Part in the US are a bit cheaper still.

Yup, if you don't like the proces of restoring your own car, it's much cheaper to buy one in restored condition..

As i'm a bit tired of it, if there is someone that can put my engine back in a already restored 280zx, i'm all ears! 😉  (To tired/sick and to much chores/odd jobs overhere.. Carlift and every sort of tools available!)
