alternaklaus Posted November 6, 2020 Share #1 Posted November 6, 2020 Good morning. I am hoping to get some opinions on these taillight panels as I am trying to decide whether they need to be returned. In relation to the car, the outer panels do not meet the upper lip on the hatch area (elevation) and do not engage fully. Even if they did, there would not be enough material to catch the screw holes. In relation to each other, the center panel is nowhere near seating neatly to the outer panels. I was expecting that they may be a bit fussy, but I'm not sure if this is a workable starting point. Thanks in advance for the feedback, Robert
jfa.series1 Posted November 6, 2020 Share #2 Posted November 6, 2020 No matter how attractive the product, it it doesn't fit well and fully complement the car you'll always see the problem and have regrets. Better to get something that works well with the platform that you can always admire. You probably knew the answer to your question even as you posted.
alternaklaus Posted November 6, 2020 Author Share #3 Posted November 6, 2020 Agreed. I just want to confirm my expectations are reasonable.
heyitsrama Posted November 7, 2020 Share #4 Posted November 7, 2020 That does not look like it’s going to fit.
grannyknot Posted November 7, 2020 Share #5 Posted November 7, 2020 Who makes that panel and why on earth would they put such a badly fitting piece on the market? It's not like it can be fixed or modified to make it fit either.
