November 21, 20204 yr Author comment_610838 I already rebuild the cv axles, with the new shorter shafts from WHP and got the mustache bar from Arizona Z Car. I know it's a challenge, but one that I'm intended on taking on to make it work. I'm trying to build my Z with has much datsun oem parts to keep it with in the Nissan family. I may sound a bit nostalgic, but I can't se my self doing it with other brand car parts. November 21, 20204 yr comment_610858 You'll probably need the 71B transmission mount also, I think that the T5 mount is different. Depends on how the PO shoehorned that T5 in. How they did it; may be why it sits too high Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/64749-help-72-240z-280zx-cr-transmission-88vlsd-dif-drive-shaft/?&page=2#findComment-610859 Share on other sites

The preload will need to be checked, and if not to spec, adjusted per the service manual.
