They were probably going 10 mph.  Just goes to show that, like that other post, a flashlight does not replace a headlight.  Head-on golf cart crash.  I assume that no alcohol was involved.  It's a golf course.

I can’t remember whether I hit the steering wheel or not. Like I swear to God we were being careful. It was pitch black. No lights. There was a cart that was rounding the corner from the range and I could see that, because that cart had headlights and our cart did not,” she said. “I was using the flashlight to lead the way. We were going three-quarters of the speed. We were both out making sure we were on the path, and had to move over just a touch left to miss the other cart coming our direction. I have done something close to this but it only hurt me, about $2,000 and 12 months without a driver's license. I forgot headlights use a concave reflection mirror for high beam/low beam. Put duct tape on the top of my headlights thinking that would make high beams low beams. WRONG. Spent the night in jail. The cooler of empty beer cans didn't help either.

My vote for, 'Best Post of the Year (in the Humor category').  Someday I'll write my story of having a conversation with a dog before starting out on a 400-mile drive back home after finishing my race weekend at le Circuit Mont-Tremblant.
