I don't have a lot of experience with Borla. I had a lot of specific requirements for the muffler. So I only had like 3 options and the Borla was the only polished one. They have a pretty good reputation. So we'll see how it sounds

We couldn't get the exhaust back under the car once it was tacked up. So we cut it here and will add another Vband. It pretty much all tacked up up. Once we verify that, we will ship off the header for jet coating.

The cross section on the new exhaust is 315% bigger then the stock exhaust (1.25" vs 2.5"). It'll probably be rowdy but Cody will like that

If the inside is going from 1.25 going to 2.5 inch.. the  cross section will be even 400% according to my calculations.. (CS= (Pi) 3,14159265 x diameter squared.)

I calculated 1.5" exhaust versus 2.5. I'm not sure if the stock exhaust is 1.25 or 1.5"

Either way that engine can finally Breathe!!

So at Thanksgiving Cody and I tried to prime his engine using a battery and a jump box. Eventually the battery ran down.

So today I used my diesel F350 and jumper cables. I cranked it and cranked it. Even in the cold temperatures the starter got warm and I never got flow on the camshaft.

So I am going to need to prime it with a drill. Does anyone offer a premade priming spindle? I might have any extra quill somewhere and could DIY something but was wondering if a premade solution existed?

Surely someone here has one you could borrow. She’s got to run before CHRISTMAS!!!
