[2021] What Did You Do To/with Your Z Today?

2 hours, 80 miles and about half a tank later I'm officially a member of the "my back can't take it" club.

Car was flawless.

Did a 90 mile drive with the Highlands Mountain Motoring group. Met Some great folks and another Z junky!

The Georgia Z Club did a swine & wine drive (BBQ for lunch followed by a winery trip). The wife and I went from the start to the BBQ portion. The club prezident always picks some great backroads for us to drive across North Georgia.

This was actually yesterday, but [mention=17919]randalla[/mention] and I went to a local Cars and Coffee in Scottsdale. We're definitely at the low end of the cars that show up, but get more than our share of attention.

The Delorean next to me looked brand new, the Jensen Healey next to Randy was sweet as well.

I took the 260Z to one of the regular car meets I frequent. A fellow GZC member was there, so we parked together.

ZNationals track day is at Road Atlanta today, so I took the day off to enjoy the day.

Modified fully radiused Webber velocity stacks to fit my SUs. On the test drive the car sprinted into the rev limiter in first and second without me intending to! So they are adding value.

The quality is 500% better than the MSA horns and they cost 1/3 in England. Can’t recommend these highly enough for an aftermarket air box.

I cut the holes open into a V shape. the webbers are 65mm centres and the SUs are 72mm centres.

Well, I haven't been driving the Z much lately, but the weather looked good for the Worship meet today. Worship was started by people who thought our local Caffeine and Octane show was getting overwhelmed by non-car people. I like going because people don't care that I don't have a show car. They are more than interested in the modifications I have made.

It was cold starting out, and it took a while for people to show up. There were only 2 other 1st gen Zs there, plus a 350Z.

One of the highlights for me was when a guy in a Cayman drove up with his German Shepherd. As soon as he opened the door for her, she made a bee-line straight for me. She was such a sweetheart.

It was a good sized crowd eventually.

Just to prove I didn't have the only Z there, here is my friend's Series 1.
