Posted February 25, 20214 yr comment_616664 Has anyone tried the Motorsport Flush Mounted Mirrors (http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/classic02e03/50-1160). I replaced the original years ago, because I wanted two matching outside mirrors. Those turned to crap. Any other suggestions? I don't like the fender-mount mirrors at all. February 26, 20214 yr comment_616665 I bought a set many years ago and never did get around to mounting them, I still have them in their original packaging. They are a good solid mirror but you do have to drill 3 small holes in the window frame to attach them properly. If you're interested, PM me, I'll make you a good deal. February 26, 20214 yr comment_616668 One of my friends has them. He said the passenger side is pretty much useless. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/65105-motorsport-flush-mounted-mirrors/#findComment-616668 Share on other sites
February 26, 20214 yr comment_616669 There is this pricy option from BRE: https://www.bre2.net/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=B&Product_Code=020A04&Category_Code=bre_datsun_accessories Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/65105-motorsport-flush-mounted-mirrors/#findComment-616669 Share on other sites
February 26, 20214 yr Author comment_616681 I wish I had just kept the original mirror. I did look at the BRE mirrors, but as mentioned, they are a bit pricey, and I don't like that they stick out so far. Grannyknot - did you just keep the original, or go with something else? February 26, 20214 yr comment_616691 I installed Vitaloni Baby Turbo on my 240z. They are not too large and the convex option on the passenger side is great. The adjustment range is very good on these mirrors. They looked and worked OK for a few years, until sun exposure destroyed the rubber 'bellows'. If you garage your Z, I'm sure you will do better than I did. On that car I ended with some generic bullet mirrors which did the job.
