Posted February 26, 20214 yr comment_616688 I've been a member of HybridZ for many years, and only recently joined this form after finding some hits on a google search for a specific problem. I have found both places to be useful and friendly to me. And of course, several good people are members of both. I've been on other (non-Z) forums where some people like to play 'king-of-the-hill' and chide you for various nitpicky items. HybridZ has a fabrication and welding section, which was helpful while I was in that phase of my restoration, but I think the same expertise exists here. Now I'm in the paint and reassembly mode. February 26, 20214 yr Author comment_616694 Hmmm. Well I suppose I thought that those who were indeed members of both would say 'why is this silly boomer posting the same thing on both forums'. Of course I'd like to tell you to post here. However, both sites have a great reputation (as you have found). We take pride in offering real-world advice without the drama. HybridZ, as the name suggests, seems to be mostly focused on hardcore modifications to the Z. While, we focus mostly on the stock or mild upgrades. Not so say that we don't have the hardcore modification forums though.. 😉 m Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/65107-should-i-post-here-or-on-hybridz/#findComment-616697 Share on other sites

February 26, 20214 yr comment_616702 How about a picture of your pile of parts? Before and after is always good to look at. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/65107-should-i-post-here-or-on-hybridz/#findComment-616702 Share on other sites
February 26, 20214 yr Author comment_616703 This is what my Z looked like in 2006, when it was my younger son's driver. It's too bad I couldn't have garaged it to keep it from turning to crap. It's currently in primer, and my current plan is to paint it Mustang Grabber Blue, with all the chrome bits powder-coated black. Post on both, there certainly is some cross over between the two forums but also a large number of guys who only frequent one or the other. There is also some great advice to be had over at https://www.autobody101.com/forums/index.php?sid=f044bf1f351a02abe241234902095df9 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/65107-should-i-post-here-or-on-hybridz/#findComment-616706 Share on other sites
