Posted April 21, 20213 yr comment_620238 Does anyone have experience with getting rid of the Vapor Vent Line / Carbon Canister on a '74 260Z? Can I just cap the line back at the vapor-liquid separator? I'm switching to early SUs with K&W air filters, could I could just run the line into an air cleaner? I'm determined to clean up under-hood and get rid of all the hoses, pipes, coolant lines, air pump and other assorted BS that I don't believe worked well or for long in the first place! Any suggestions appreciated! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/65301-deleting-the-vapor-vent-line-carbon-canister-74-260z/ Share on other sites
April 22, 20213 yr comment_620244 I’m not sure about the 260 but capping off the vapor line my ZX causes excess pressure and gas will sometimes shoot out the fuel filler neck when you remove the cap. Not just a little spray, more like douse you!!!It has to at least be vented.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/65301-deleting-the-vapor-vent-line-carbon-canister-74-260z/#findComment-620244 Share on other sites
