May 8, 20213 yr comment_621260 I have the Vintage Rubber kit - I had no interest in dealing with the Precision door seal issues given all the negative feedback. The doors fit/close fine so far, but I don't have my glass back in yet so the upper half isn't being tested. Having an issue with their rear hatch seal - it fits fine, but it's being difficult as far as staying stuck to the frame. It's been cleaned multiple times, but is still coming loose in the lower corners. Not sure what my body shop used for adhesive, but it's something I have on my "deal with this later" list. May 8, 20213 yr comment_621261 Well, a timely thread. I just ordered a driver’s door seal because mine is gone. Got it from Zcardepot so I hope it works. I’m also about to buy a rear hatch seal. MSA has an aftermarket one for $69 compared to $190 for a OEM. They said this one is improved and has been working well. A previous aftermarket one was problematic but it’s been fixed. We shall see. May 8, 20213 yr comment_621265 And.. TIP! check the seal with a small piece of paper between the hatch and close it.. if you can pull it out very easy.. thats wrong the paper should have some resistance then it seals at that spot! Paper of just an inch width is best to use! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/65361-precision-seals/?&page=2#findComment-621265 Share on other sites
