Posted June 24, 20213 yr comment_624041 My seats are not torn or ripped and not brittle or breaking. However, they look like the have dirt all over them. When they are wet with product they look fabulous. When they dry they go back to the dirty/faded look. Anybody have a good product they use on seat to refresh them? June 24, 20213 yr comment_624068 I think thats dirt down in the grooves. A brush and frequent bucket changes. See if it gets better. Maybe find a specialty cleaner from Meguiars or Lexall Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/65538-cleaning-seats/#findComment-624068 Share on other sites
June 24, 20213 yr comment_624070 When I cleaned mine I used Murphy's oil soap to clean them then I used some left over leather cleaner from a BMW I had. The leather cleaner made the interior smell good so I still use that. My Camry has leather too. Bought all that at Walmart. June 26, 20213 yr comment_624110 Do it a couple more times. Use a soft bristle brush and hot water. They'll look good. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/65538-cleaning-seats/#findComment-624110 Share on other sites

I'm thinking if they are 50% better, he needs to the same amount of brushing again and then they'll be 100% better, right? Math. June 28, 20213 yr comment_624195 Haha!! Well however the math works out, Wally, good luck with the cleanup and don't brush so furiously that you wear through the seats!!! June 30, 20213 yr comment_624319 I just realized I actually used some Leather Honey I had for my couch on my 240 seats. I put it on heavy and the next day it had soaked in the vinyl and the seats looked normal. Then I used some soft rags to buff them out then they had a shine. Like Murphy's oil soap it remoisturize the seats and makes the vinyl soft again. Natural stuff instead of chemicals. Worked good for me. Original seats with no cracks but you have to moisturize them.
