ya.. thats my next option.. i have the motor out and disassembled..  not sure if the plastic gear in there is stripped... all looks ok.. now i need to put it back together... how do i get the 3 spring loaded magnets back in there....???? can i take the gear side of the motor apart???

Bearings prob failed or something Fun thing in classics is you can take everything apart. Take the time to take it apart. It's an easy fix usually

I have it apart.  Which bearing are you referring to? Motor seems to spin ok.  I have not opened gear side yet.  White gear looks a bit worn. But my issues was clicking when I tried to turn it on.  So power was there.

I had the same problem with the motor not running.  I bypassed the relay and connected a battery straight to the motor, and it ran.  Power goes through the relay before the motor, so I cleaned the contacts on the relay, and it worked fine.  You might give that a try.
