So my girlfriend owns a 810 and since its essentially a L24 from a 240z I assume this temperature gauge sensor works (picture below). Although it says 1970-1983 in the description so still skeptical. Does anyone know if this sensor will work?

Rock Auto shows 1981 to be the last year for the 810. Temperature sender from Beck Arnley shows they are the same for the Z series.

I believe it is the same sender from the Z series as the engine essentially came from a 240z and was a main point of advertisement “Nissan Maxima now with the 240z engine” I believe the sender should
work.

The part number is the same for both. Might want to look into getting the threaded sleeve as well.
