zspert Posted September 11, 2021 Share #1 Posted September 11, 2021 To me the most interesting aspect of the comments about this car is the universal praise for the competence of that outfit in OK. Most of you know who I'm referencing, the one with the multiple convictions for fraud. However, this continues to prove that there is indeed a sucker born every minute. On rare occasion BAT has featured a car from his shop, or if we can believe it did indeed come from his shop, and they haven't been anything to write home about. By the way, I like the car and expect it to fetch a pretty penny. To restore it or do just the safe & reliable repairs needed and enjoy the patina, the universal question! One of the people big-upping and sucking up to 'The Guild' (LOL) on the current BAT '69 HLS30U auction owns a car which has a bodyshell made out of at least three different cars welded together, but which - inexplicably - seems to have been given an award at ZCon 2021 Colorado. You've heard of the Rumble In The Jungle, but here's the Con At The Con... 1 1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/65807-red-69-production-date-car-on-bat/#findComment-628341 Share on other sites
zspert Posted September 11, 2021 Author Share #4 Posted September 11, 2021 Hiyabrad - the bag of fasteners with the Nissan part # is a 240 distributor screw set, now NLA. The other pix is of the assembly mark I installed on a customer's pedal box. I guess they do their best in the circumstances, but... Oh, and you downgraded me. Mark Maras Posted November 11, 2022 Share #11 Posted November 11, 2022 The earliest Z I've seen was in the back room of ZTherapy's shop. As I recall, Steve said it was #32. I wonder if he still has it? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/65807-red-69-production-date-car-on-bat/#findComment-647171 Share on other sites
26th-Z Posted November 12, 2022 Share #12 Posted November 12, 2022 So he has HLS30-00020!?!?? I thought it was originally white. Could be wrong - old age memory. Fuel door knob is wrong. It should be the vertical knob. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/65807-red-69-production-date-car-on-bat/#findComment-647189 Share on other sites
