Interested to know why you would not go back to the factory gasket which is reusable. Thanks for your time…john I bought a stock gasket, and it was already seeping oil mostly just sitting for the past couple months. After a while, you get a feel for how to loose set them so they end up at the proper clearance after tightening the lock nut. Driving about 500 miles round trip next weekend to the Carlisle Import Show - so I've ordered a Mahle cork/rubber version to tide me over. I've emailed MilkFab. May 3, 2024May 3 comment_664854 There's a little difference on the sides up front. Look close when you put it on. I put one on upside down and the thermostat housing side was a little longer on the staight part before the cam sprocket hump. Yes - I got that - you can see the shoulder placement in my second pic - when reversed, it is stretched on the area between #1 & the cam chain Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/65816-what-valve-specs-yall-like-for-adjusting/?&page=4#findComment-664856 Share on other sites

May 3, 2024May 3 comment_664860 I've always used local chain store Felpro. The bolts stay in place with it. Loosen them and just lift the cover off.
