Posted June 11, 200321 yr comment_40616 Well, I will let the photos do most of the talking. This is how it gose when you mix a 45 MPH left hand turn with around 100 MPH of speed. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/6587-bike-wreck/ Share on other sites

June 11, 200321 yr comment_40621 That's why I quit riding street bikes back in the 80's.... the new ones today would scare even a good rider with their speed and acceleration potentials...I know the 500 Interceptor I had could get me into trouble in a hurry and it is a dog compared to the 600's today....I find it hard to believe in today's litigious society someone hasn't filed a suit against the manufacturers of today's sport bikes.... too much potential to sell to anyone off the street with absolutely no experience IMO.... June 11, 200321 yr Author comment_40627 too much potential to sell to anyone off the street with absolutely no experience IMO.... True. BUT look at the world of cars and watercraft in the same way. and that could be a ugly road none of us want to see. I feel there should be a test before you get anything with alot of power. An IQ test :stupid: 400 A MONTH for a bike damn he must have a TON of tickets. I am not even at that a YEAR for mine. YET :devious: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/6587-bike-wreck/#findComment-40627 Share on other sites
June 12, 200321 yr comment_40662 I own a total monster (1300cc sportbike) and I'm a responsible rider. I'm not even that good. The key is fear. [m] Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/6587-bike-wreck/#findComment-40662 Share on other sites
June 12, 200321 yr comment_40664 Holy cow Mike, your bike has an engine bigger than my car (by 300ccs). You know what they say about people who buy/ride large capacity bikes? June 12, 200321 yr Author comment_40722 I know all about the big cc sport bikes. My first bike was a 900 and I still have her tucked away The thing with me is I enjoy tossing a bike into a corner just as much as top end speed. With me I am 5'8" @ 160 lbs so a heavy bike is a real workout for me and have found the newer 600s a good balance for me. Thats what counts :devious: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/6587-bike-wreck/#findComment-40722 Share on other sites
