I am in need of the hatch hinge boots plates.

The photo (courtesy of jfa.series1 ) shows the detail of the plates.  (Left and right appear to be the same.)

If I ever get my plating back, I might have a pair

Since I will use an epoxy primer, I prefer not to have the parts plated.  (Stripping off the plating is always a time consuming process.)

Please keep me in mind if you have an unfinished pair.

Everyone I have has already gone to the plater.

I was gonna paint, then install the boots, plates and hinges. Seems a shame to paint nice parts

There is no weatherstip above the hinge plates, so they will rust quickly if not painted.  The plating is not a substitute for primer, before laying down the paint.
