Posted October 10, 20213 yr comment_629791 I found a few slivers of steel in the oil strainer. They are magnetic. Should i pull all bearing caps? Maybe the bearing backing or journals are hosed. October 10, 20213 yr comment_629804 I would do an oil analysis, just to see types and quantity of metal in the oil. Also a magnetic oil plug.
