November 4, 20213 yr comment_630979 For sure and if you decide to go another way I'm always interested in a set of 45s. November 7, 20213 yr Author comment_631134 Again I want to thank all of you contributing to my Weber education and hopefully I will pass. Here are the specs I have gathered so far: Main jets F16 Emulsion tube 145 jet 160 air jet  Idle jet 60F8  Pump jet 45 As indicated these came off a running car and were synchronized on it and I have not altered that. The car had significantly more HP than the stock 240Z they are on now. The 240Z has 6 into 2 headers with a twice pipe exhaust, 280ZX distributor and if it matters an electric fuel pump. Is anything else needed to look at...? November 7, 20213 yr comment_631143 You're a bit rich on main for a L24 and may need to be in the 120-135 range. The 60F8 is too big. 50f8 is where you'll want to be. The 45 pump jet depends on the intake/exhaust (probably 0.55). If you find a bad bog on acceleration it'll mean you need to change you accel combo. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/65999-base-or-standard-weber-45-specification-for-a-240z/?&page=2#findComment-631143 Share on other sites
November 7, 20213 yr Author comment_631153 Just wanted to add Aux Venturi 4.5 Needle valve 2.0 Choke 36 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/65999-base-or-standard-weber-45-specification-for-a-240z/?&page=2#findComment-631153 Share on other sites
November 8, 20213 yr comment_631159 36 is going to feel a bit big. 2.4L is usually 32 tops, 34 for a 2.8L. A 4.5 aux is fine. 3.5 is an option. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/65999-base-or-standard-weber-45-specification-for-a-240z/?&page=2#findComment-631159 Share on other sites
