Base or standard Weber 45 specification for a 240z

Recommended Posts

Again I want to thank all of you contributing to my Weber education and hopefully I will pass. Here are the specs I have gathered so far:

Main jets

F16 Emulsion tube

145 jet

160 air jet

Idle jet

60F8

Pump jet

45

As indicated these came off a running car and were synchronized on it and I have not altered that. The car had significantly more HP than the stock 240Z they are on now. The 240Z has 6 into 2 headers with a twice pipe exhaust, 280ZX distributor and if it matters an electric fuel pump.

Is anything else needed to look at...?

You're a bit rich on main for a L24 and may need to be in the 120-135 range. The 60F8 is too big. 50f8 is where you'll want to be.

The 45 pump jet depends on the intake/exhaust (probably 0.55). If you find a bad bog on acceleration it'll mean you need to change you accel combo.
