Posted March 14, 20222 yr comment_637204 It looks like my water pump is leaking. I'm getting ready to remove it and figure out what the problem is. I hope my video will allow somebody to affirm or not that it's my water pump? Also, any tricks to remove and replace? I'm sure those bolts have been in there for years, and probably need to be finessed? Any tips are welcome? March 14, 20222 yr comment_637205 mov would not work for me. That being said hope you dont break off the skinny bolt that goes back to the block. they frequently seize there and snap off. If that happens you will need to pull the front cover making it a much bigger job. I would try what ever trick you know to see if you can remove them with out breaking. March 14, 20222 yr comment_637210 Coolant. If the seal goes bad, it weeps out the weep hole. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/66449-water-pump/#findComment-637210 Share on other sites
March 14, 20222 yr comment_637212 Grab your fan blade and wiggle it front to back. If there is any movement at all, the water pump is bad and needs to be replaced.
