Tourniqet Posted June 17, 2003 Share #1 Posted June 17, 2003 I have a 73 parts car with a good block and 4speed tranny, rear end and set of mag slotted wheels. 60% of the body pannels are good. It was SMASHED on the driver side so the passenger has all good parts and a good hood and other parts. Not to many interior parts but dont be shy in asking. This is Thefastestz's old car. It ran good untill wrecked and now it is less carbs exhaust and distributor. If you want engine tranny, rear end then you could take the whole car on its rolling chassis. Just gimme a ring, I have a lot of parts, and a full a/c from my project car, and other smog parts:ermm:
texasz Posted June 18, 2003 Share #2 Posted June 18, 2003 What were the carbs you replaced with the DGVs (round tops or the original crappy flat tops)?

bangker Posted July 12, 2003 Share #5 Posted July 12, 2003 Tell me about that A/C? Does it work? Will it work in a 260?
Tourniqet Posted July 22, 2003 Author Share #6 Posted July 22, 2003 I believe the a/c works. It never had a belt hooked up to it on my car, but the pump is BRAND new looking on the part that is clean, The other three sides have some gunk on it but it looks like it was replaced in the past 5 years. It has compression when i turn it. I also have the electric fan parts. And the ac condenser and a few hoses...My comp died so i havent replied latley.SORRY! Tourniqet Posted July 23, 2003 Author Share #9 Posted July 23, 2003 I would sell the whole thing for 500 neg. It is an hour outside of dallas. Has good set of slotted mags(good tires i think), good engine tranny and rear end, Good pannels sept for driver door and maybe front or rear driver quarter. All glass, sept driver door. It is missing most the lights, but electrical is there.Msg me back with what you think

texasz Posted July 24, 2003 Share #11 Posted July 24, 2003 I know this car, I test drove it 5 days before the accident as I was looking to buy it. After the accident I was offered this car and his parts car for free, he also placed an ad to give it away (should have taken it then but did not have anywhere for it at the time). I am going to pick up his parts car this weekend (still giving it to me). I do know that you gave some money for it even though he was willing to give it away but I also know that you have pulled the header, dual Webber DGVs, and maybe even some other parts that I don't know about. Now you are trying to sell it for more than you paid with less parts that are of interest. Free market and all but sorry, I will have to pass on this one. No disrespect intended but you got one heck of a deal, you will end up being paid $300 to take the car pull the parts you want and then get rid of it (paid $200, pulled good parts, sell for $500):bandit:. Good parts and cash in pocket...DAMN I should have taken it when I had the chance. Now if you decide to give it away let me know...
texasz Posted July 24, 2003 Share #12 Posted July 24, 2003 By the way, I don't know if you have run the engine but it's not in perfect condition. There is a noise coming from the head and it was never fully dianosed, it may need a valve job. There were 1-2 threads on this back just before the accident. I searched for 30 minutes and could not find it though, it should be from late March or so.
