hello out there,

I'm not much of an expert on these Z cars and I'm wondering what I should do about my carbs. I have dual webbers right now (two two barrels) and they are totaly shot. So should I just buy new dual webbers, or should i go with SU carbs or something along those lines. I'm not looking for drag race preformance with this car, just looking to have some fun. Any help I can get would be helpfull.

Assuming your car still has the stock cam. IN that case you don't need anything more than a good set or round top S. U's. If your car has been modified stock S. U aren't for you. Duel Webber's are great for street use for highly modified or stock cars. The only problem is they don't like your wallet. Duel Webber's around $1100 triples over $2000.Ebay will some times have like new Webber's but there usually $500&up. I always see round top SU's the need help. Zthearpy sells great Remanufactured SU's(http://www.ztherapy.com/) . Also try rebello racing(http://www.rebelloracing.com/)

happy hunting,

Brandon

P. S you can't get anything more reliable than round top S. U's

I agree that if you don't have big plans and money for your engine go with a set of SU carbs. By them cheaply and rebuild or by some professionally rebuilt ones from Ztherapy. Another plus is you can use the SU's with your current manifold, which I am guessing is a N33 or N36 with the Weber DGV adapter!?

Have fun!

Either... ( http://www.ztherapy.com/ )

$595.00 + $150.00 core charge (polishing extra :) )

The triple Weber DCOE with Cannon intake manifold & linkage can be had for $1195.00 ($1345.00 with TWM intake and linkage).

For about $2295.00 you have the six throttle body Fuel Injection system pictured below.

Regarding the SU's shown,

You'll only get the two Carbs for $595 + $150 core charge. The Manifold, and balance tube, and linkage shown in the picture will cost you $150 + $150 core charge more.
