1980 280 ZX, put the drivers window fully down, and that it. The switch will not lift the window back up.
Didnt hear and clunks. Passenger side window fine.
I assume its the switch or motor in drivers side
Anything I need to be careful not to break when taking the door panel off?

You may be able to get to the switch & its wiring harness without taking the door panel off.  Carefully remove the plastic bezel around the switch without breaking the tabs and take a look.  You can possibly test the switch & power from there.

Yeah that's a problem, better take off the whole card.. when you brake a tab there it's easy to replace! and you can then get to those tabs more easely also!  It can be a lose wire or a defect switch or a motor connection,, but i don't think it's the motor as it went down well.. the glass..
