While this forum post is an excellent read, it still doesnt help me get any closer to actually rebuilding the stock NP valve. Any suggestions where one would find new O-rings, Y-seals, lip seals, and cup seals?

Those seals don't fit on Z's after 1973. Ive got a 78. 

Heres a photo of the NP valve on a 78. Big difference from the one on the 240z's
