Posted May 30, 20222 yr comment_641009 Finally got my horn circuit working, but the horns just go "Doink." I know they can be taken apart, cleaned, and adjusted. But, has anyone got an aftermarket set they think sounds cool for a Z ? Looking for plug and play. Thanks! August 10, 20222 yr comment_643664 I was contemplating getting Roadrunner horns , they seem like the same shape/style to just the color might be rough.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/67531-new-hi-lo-horn-set/#findComment-643664 Share on other sites
August 13, 20222 yr Author comment_643806 For now, I installed the Hella 007424801 horn set. Painted them black. I'll probably take a stab at rebuilding the old ones eventually. At least I have a working horn, and pretty loud. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/67531-new-hi-lo-horn-set/#findComment-643806 Share on other sites
August 13, 20222 yr comment_643807 You might already know this , but there is a set screw in the back that adjust the audible tone . I inadvertently did a hey what does this do [emoji23] and screwed mine up . But once I set it back in it’s rightful place my set seems to work fine .just incase you get lucky and the set screw just needs to be adjusted .Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/67531-new-hi-lo-horn-set/#findComment-643807 Share on other sites
