Perhaps a recent update unchecked the box.

Go to Account Settings>Signature and move the slider button to the right.

I just did and now I see signatures.

Looks like the Ignore Thread feature is gone too. Must've been some kind of reset overnight.

I'm sorry! The "ignore thread" is what you're talking about. Duh on my dumb arse.

If I hover on your profile pic I get the IGNORE option. Can't remember how it was, I have a short list of ignored users and they've all disappeared from the site thank god.

I think he was talking about the “ignore this thread” feature where one can choose to not see a given thread.

As for the ignore a member feature, not once in 25 years of participating in innernet forums have I ever used it. Sure, there have been jackwads who have tested my resolve, but I only ignore them figuratively, by not acknowledging their existence, not responding to their posts, rather than put them on a list.

I think that sends a stronger message.

Must have been a few changes after the last update.  I didn't even notice it.  Ignore topic is back now, it was disabled because it required a separate update.  Not sure about signatures though, maybe it's now shut off by default.  I'll leave it this way unless you guys think we should really go back and enable all of them by default.

I found the switch, and turned it back on for me, but see that today it is off again.

Why doesn’t it stay on?

Hmm... not sure.  Let me do some digging.

Actually, I think it is staying on, at least for the moment.

Because signatures don’t show on a mobile device (like my iPhone) and I forgot about that detail, I made the above post while browsing from my phone thinking signatures were switched off.

On my iPad now, which behaves more like a laptop or PC, and the signatures show.

Ok great, good to know.  I have a feeling the 'show signatures' option is new and it defaulted to off.  So you'll have to switch it on manually.  I'm trying to see if there's a way I can turn it back on for every user in certain groups.  We'll see how it goes...
