Still struggling with car at idle after 8 years

This is the same car and individual. @mike How can someone on the forum be able to change identities which creates confusion. Totally removes history on the vehicle and doesn’t give an opportunity to find a solution since the history is no longer available per the user name. Since we are logging on with an email address how can a username not correlate.

About 8 years ago or so i forgot my username and typed martzedcars (as that is a name i use here in my country for mail) but it should have been the dutchzcarguy and now in one of my topic's about my 280zx is that name still visable.. what i mean to tell is.. it was years ago also possible to use another name.

(Also i remember i read something about changing the username only once, so you have max 2 names.. that went out of the window when i saw "someone" here used a 3th name..  anyway.. things change over time i guess..  Or.. i think it has to do with the fact that he has moved to another country and has now another computer-adress. (IP-adress) and that makes it easy to change name(s)..  )

I got my electromechanic to check the wiring and it seemed connected all the way around.  This is how it ended and hopefully there is no noise inside the dashboard when driving below 1500 rpms. Anyway im waiting for amazon to send me a new 1.5 pertronix coil and 1.5 ohms ballast resistor so we can eliminate lack of electricity from coil to cyl 4.

Pertronix.. my Favorite Brand... to throw in the bin! (New and old..) But ... just my opinion so carry on..

The coil and ballast resistor won't affect just a single cylinder.  They will affect all of them equally.  If you have a single cylinder problem it won't be fixed with a new coil and resistor.
