This thread seems to have gone awry.  Are Jalexquijano and Johnny wick the same person?  How did the name get changed?  And how did 72 Datsun 240z get inserted in here?  Is this our new AI world?

...just took a look around and see that Jalex and Johnny wick are the same.  Did not know that a person could erase their screen name from the past and take on a new identity.  Weird stuff!!

The one circled was fastened there by the guys who installed the Ac in my car. I had to unplug this wire as it waa causing a horrible noise that came from the blowe of the ac inside the car. Ballast resistor measured 2.1 ohms.

Which wires you want me to remove from the coil?

Yarb,

Can you guide me on this?

@72 Datsun 240z I would start your own thread, rather than adding to other existing threads.  It will help people stay focused on your problem instead of getting distracted by the original topic.

Also, since you've already asked your question in another thread it makes sense to respond to that thread.  Except in this case where you should start your own new thread.  Good luck.

Click "Start new topic" at the top of the page.

I have to ask, Why do you let it idle instead of turning it off? Trouble restarting when it's hot? It's obviously too rich. The most common problems, aside from float levels, are stiff nozzle hoses, misaligned nozzle choke linkage or misadjusted choke cables. All of these can prevent the nozzles from raising up all the way when the choke knob is pushed into the off position. How many turns down are the nozzles?

Reach under the carbs when the car is running and push up on the choke nozzles. If they are hanging up it causes the exact problem you have. you’ll hear a little snap if they are indeed hanging up. If Ztherapy built the carbs, you can feel confident its not in the carbs. IMO

That’s true @Patcon. An earlier thread He mentioned he was moving from Panama to Spain. Originally on this site for a very long time. Believe he changed the name due to some issues he was having under the original name from Panama with the California Datsun engine.

I never knew he was moving to Spain. If he has his car in Spain now, it may be easier to find Z help than when he was in Panama.

Gundee,

Do you need more pictures of my coil so we can wire the petronix correctly? Need to get this ac blower noise issue solved asap!

More cleare pics of the connections from dizzy to petronix 1.5 ohm coil. Original resistor is measuting 2.1 ohm though. I removed the coil sparkplug wire for clearer view and your input!
