Stumbled across this today and downloaded a copy.  Lots of interesting info for the Z and other Datsun's here including production run changes with VINs, and other things like the original add on (after-market) air conditioning info.

Phillip, where are you at????

Last I heard he was now into vintage guitars. He's going full blast on whatever he does.

He brought me closer to the s30 than anyone or anything else, mostly. Can't say enough good things about him. He was so kind to my country bumpkin personality unlike the other dicks on zcar and told me about classiczcars.com.

I actually reached out to Philip a couple of years ago on Linkedin when I had not heard from him in a while. I think @Captain Obvious may have talked on the phone with him, too. I know I miss his presence here, and I really appreciate the fact that he went out of his way to come up to my place when he was in town and showed me a lot about adjusting valves and tuning SUs. 

I hope he's enjoying his guitars. I'm sure he's doing creative things with them.
