I was curious... what is everyone's opinion on those clear headlight covers for our sugar scoop headlights?

I figure that they look similar to older Jaguar's and Ferrari's and some Porche's.

I would like to get a set, to have a newer look, *minute improvments on aerodynamics and a smoother body style.

However, I do kidna want to keep the car looking all original, and I don't want any cheesy, ricey accessories.

What is everyone's opinion on them... for an Z.. like a 280Z, not a ZX.

and ive seen them and wanted them on a Z as well. me personally i think they look fantastic and give it that little extra.

i have 3 sets one orginal nissan part new never fitted

two after market tinted ones new

orginal datsun ones that fitted on top of the headlight cone

luv the look just caant bring my self to drill the holes tried the double sided tape but that didnt work

Have just bought one left hand headlight surround think i will but a right hand one then i will have replacement so i can drilll the holes going with the tinted ones

They're brilliant, but if you don't have them already on your car....... drilling holes in your car probably isn't exactly fun.

I'm sure there would be a way to getaround it though... somehow...

Alfa is one of those unlucky fellows who has no Z, but we still like him and "allow" () him to play in our backyard.

No that's not my car, it's a silver 240Z with a G-Nose like you say, and very very nice. I can only wish it was mine...

(it is actually a picture of Mr. K's 240Z I believe, I've just made it look silver as I dont particularily like yellow on Z's)

I have a 73 silver 240 Z which I'm restoring and that is my plan to make it look like that one if I can get ahold of the gnose parts.

When you get time, please post some pictures up in the gallery for us to look at!

I will do that someday when its finished.

Right now it still looks like a standard silver 240Z but without any fenders or hood.
