kool240z Posted June 29, 2003 Share #1 Posted June 29, 2003 Hi. I'm installing a triple weber set in my 240z. With the new intake manifold there's no place for a pcv fitting. So now i have a hose, coming from the block that suppose to hook up to the pcv, hanging around. Is it ok to leave this hose hanging? If i have to hook it up to a pcv, how would i go about doing so? There's no pcv fitting on the new intake. dunno what to do.
ZmeFly Posted June 29, 2003 Share #2 Posted June 29, 2003 most use a k and n filter in its place plus it cleans up the engine bay.if you think you might need that or are concerned you could always hook up a catch can for the breather and the block.good luck and get some pics so we can see your new tri carb set up.hehe how do you like the way they sound, nothing like a set of tripples revving up the engine is there:love:
kool240z Posted June 29, 2003 Author Share #3 Posted June 29, 2003 yeah i got a filter for the breather. I'm just wondering what should i do with the hose the goes to the pcv valve from the engine. I've attached a pix of the setup. The hose that's sticking up between the weber is the hose i'm talking about. It goes to the pcv. But my manifold for the weber doesn't have a fitting for a pcv valve. Can i just leave it hanging or plug it somewhere? I've attached a picture of my set up. I would like to here your thought about it. Can't wait till it hits the street:D -Kevin
