April 19, 20231 yr comment_652761 You should start a Youtube channel. Paint store head porting in Alabama. I'd watch it. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/68277-p90-images/?&page=2#findComment-652761 Share on other sites

Paint mixing, rental property, cylinder head repair, manicures and income taxes done here. Taxidermy work is seasonal. Not all p90a are hydraulic. Mine is not. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/68277-p90-images/?&page=2#findComment-652777 Share on other sites

Yes, that's possible but i think that's then a later remanufactured/ altered p90a head that was altered because the hydrolic lifters are long time NLA? Or do you have orig.paperwork (seen) from p90a heads with non hydrolic lifters? April 19, 20231 yr comment_652780 siteunseen's head was rebuild by Dover Cylinder Head. People often converted the hydraulic pivots to solid using Timesert parts. From everything that I've learned, in the USA market, the P90(a) only came on the turbo engines. The US market has many differences from the rest of the world market. Here's an old thread about the Timesert conversion. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/68277-p90-images/?&page=2#findComment-652780 Share on other sites
April 19, 20231 yr Author comment_652791 I like the p90 better after comparing them side by side plus better designed chamber than the e31. I'm not liking it too much after I unshrouded them for the bigger vales. The runners in the p90 are better from what I've read, straighter better flow. P90 is the dirtier one. No, I had Two unmolested 280zx engines, one has p90a and the other has p90 and the only difference I can see is the 'a'. I don't think any UK cars had the hydraulic lifters, but plenty of p90a heads. April 19, 20231 yr comment_652794 Nissan didn't mention the hydraulic pivot until the 1983 FSM. It only has one nut. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/68277-p90-images/?&page=2#findComment-652794 Share on other sites
