Cannot locate this one. Can someone send a pic if possible? I have the panels and glass removed as I am working on the door but cannot find this stopper!!!

When the window is rolled down the bottom edge sits on the rubber bumper. there is one on each side towards the front. 

Often the metal clip rusts out and it falls away from the mount hole. 

I couldn't find a good pic online either. 

Hmmm I have already installed the glass inside the door. But I am sure nothing like this exit inside my door! a better pic would be nice.

Without it I expect the metal frame on the lower part of the window would hit metal to metal. 

I'll see if I can get some better pictures after work today. 

My mistake before. The pad sits in the rear portion of the door. Slightly forward of where the the lock cut out is.

There is a raised bracket that has a rectangle hole in it for the spring clip. 

I hope these pic's help. Pardon the rust. 

Appreciate the photos. Let me try to locate mine. Rear make sense as the glass bracket is tilted on the rear and that side should come in contact first.

@Terrapin Z which year/model car these pics are from? I am pretty certain my 77 280z do not have any place for this stopper. I have checked thoroughly. I think my window regulator just stop at the right time i.e. it has finite movement.

Seems like even on this thread the folks where not able to locate any room for these in a 77 280z.

1976 and 1971 respectively, I think I have a 77 - 78 door I'll look again. I know those doors were different in a lot of way from the earlier cars. 

It was noted in the other thread that it might be a typo in ZCD's description. 

I checked the door I have from a 78 and there is no bracket in the door like the one's shown above. 

There is no glass in my door so I am uncertain if there is some bumper mounted to the glass frame / support. 

I would say the bumpers ZCD sells will not work in 77 - 78 doors.
