Posted January 9, 20241 yr comment_660919 As I plan to keep the car stock, secured these rear tie down hooks from ebay. They seems correct per the FSM to be rear tie down hooks. Left one aligns with the 3 bolt holes I have on the body. The right one #6 seems a bit different than the left. #6 has 3 holes almost vertical in the pic vs the one i received which is a mirror copy of the left. Anyone has them installed? January 10, 20241 yr Author comment_660922 Thanks for sharing. So mine are correct rear ones. Need to find out what previous owner did to one of the right holes!!! They were advertised as front on ebay and I took a chance as they were listed fairly cheap 😀 Edited January 10, 20241 yr by MH77280Z Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/68770-rear-tie-down-hooks/#findComment-660922 Share on other sites
January 31, 20241 yr Author comment_661573 Update… Project complete. My right tie down on the 77 280z was a bit different. 3 vertical bolts per the 77 shop manual above - found one piece on eBay. The left one I posted above fitted fine.
